John Philip Hortelano, known as JP, is a dedicated Blueprint programmer at Quantrics, whose career and personal journey reflect his drive for continuous growth.
JP’s career at Quantrics began in 2022 when he was hired as a Chat Support Agent. After a year of solid performance in his role, he discovered an opening for a Blueprint programmer position—a perfect match for his background in Information Technology. His enthusiasm paid off, and six months later, he secured a permanent role as a Blueprint programmer. Having been with Quantrics for over two years now, JP looks forward to building a long and fulfilling career with the company.
Outside of work, JP’s life took a transformative turn when he started focusing on his health & fitness. This pivotal moment came when his friends at Quantrics encouraged him to hit the gym after their shift. Exercising with them made fitness not just a routine but an enjoyable part of his life. Thanks to Quantrics’ free gym access, JP could pursue his fitness goals without the extra cost of a membership—a benefit he greatly appreciates.
In addition to his time at the gym, JP has developed several other hobbies that keep him active. Every weekend, he enjoys cycling to different places, and he regularly jogs with friends, both inside and outside of Quantrics. Occasionally, he even takes on hiking adventures with his close circle, further deepening his connection to health and nature.
Embracing a healthy lifestyle has significantly boosted JP’s confidence and self-esteem, which has also impacted his productivity and focus at work. With more energy, he’s been more engaged in his programming projects, and the friendships he’s built along the way have made the experience even more rewarding. JP encourages others to give fitness a try, as it’s been life-changing for him.
